General Membership & Account Information

A. The leadership of both Credit Unions recognized that we shared a similar culture and service philosophy—putting our Members first to help them achieve the financial well-being they deserve. Together, we can better serve Members’ needs and help them with expert advice and products and services through every stage of their financial lives.

Because we are owned by our Members, their positive vote was required to merge. In December 2019, all Schools Financial Members were asked to participate in a vote on the merger. Members approved the merger with a 94% positive vote. We legally became one Credit Union on January 1, 2020 and since then, have been working on integrating our systems to SERVE you as one Credit Union on November 1, 2020.

A. To ensure the best Member experience, we stopped accepting credit card applications on June 8.
